Hello! Today we are going to tell you a little more about our boots.
What inspired us to design the boots?
The inspiration arose based mainly on the cowboy style , which has been a trend in recent years and has proven not to go out of style, in short, it is a timeless trend as far as footwear is concerned.
But how could it be otherwise, at Cuchy we wanted to give it a chic and renewed touch , so we said, why not reverse the heel? And that we did!
This type of heel has been seen a lot this year on the catwalk , and we loved it, although it has not yet entered the market as a trend recognized by all, the trendiest have already had their eye on it 😉
This Cuban heel is not an invention of this year, but it has begun to be seen now on the catwalks, and although it is not yet 100% implanted in the market, we believe that it will be a trend in the coming seasons . In addition, this type of heel is original, feminine and stylizes the leg tremendously.
We wanted to do something cutting-edge, but combining it at the same time with that cowboy or Texan style that is so popular.
Let's talk about the key to a good boot, the design of the shaft
Now, the key to good boots is the cane. Our shaft is higher than usual , just below the knee, which visually lengthens the legs. In addition, at the top of the shaft, two openings have been made, which means that they do not press anything and that they fit perfectly with any cufflink . And finally at this point, to say that this shaft makes them ultra-comfortable boots to put on and take off, forget about fighting to put your boots on.
It is a super light and very comfortable boot , you will not take them off, we guarantee that.
Taking care of the details of our boots to the millimeter
In addition to this, and as usual in Cuchy, the finishes and details are key to making truly unique boots . We have included metallic details, both on the toecaps and on the rivets on the hem.
They are points of light that attract attention and give the boots a very special touch. We wanted these boots to be really groundbreaking, so we opted to put these rivets in gold, which adds a touch of glamor and elegance to cowboy-style boots that can initially be somewhat casual.
We flee from plastic and synthetic materials using first-class leather
And of course, we can't forget about the skins .
We have played with different finishes and textures. We have smooth black nappa leather that is a wardrobe staple that combines with any look.
We have dyed that same nappa in a wine tone, because it is a color that also provides a lot of sophistication and personality, which fits very well with many shades, and is perfect for winter and autumn. It is a color that some of us know will be difficult, but we wanted to bet on it because we know that the most daring and who know how to combine it will fall in love, because they are really spectacular.
As smooth nappa leather wasn't enough for us, hehehe, we've also used embossed leather for our boots. Coconut embossed leather is super trendy, we have seen it in all kinds of accessories: bags, belts, chic fanny packs, and of course in footwear.
This leather with a coconut finish has a satin tone that looks great in sunlight, and we have chosen to bring this leather in black (our absolute basics for this season) and in brown; but not just any brown, a warm tile brown color that is amazing.
And finally, the manufacturing process of our boots. Exclusivity in its purest form
Finally, we cannot forget that all the boots (well, actually all our shoes) are handmade, in 100% Made in Spain artisan workshops . It is a very laborious process that is not easy, we had a hard time finding a size that really took care of the process and that understood our concept: quality over quantity.
All of this makes our cuchy boots super exclusive, we only make 12 runs per boot , so only a select few will get to wear our boots.
Which is your favorite? We read you in comments.
